I will show the work in progress of a performance I am currently working on about stories of a relationship between a mother and a daughter, the performance is based on the meals me and my mother used to have in the early 80’s in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In this piece I look into the last time I talked to my mother while she was cooking ‘brigadeiro’, a traditional Brazilian sweet to her 9th birthday party.
